Rising fuel prices can make every trip feel a little heavier on the wallet. Drivers still need vehicles that handle family life, daily commutes and demanding work. Ford’s hybrid lineup is designed to help meet those needs with less fuel stress.

Ford has long offered vehicles for a wide range of lifestyles. In the Middle East and North Africa, Ford’s hybrid lineup brings together efficiency, comfort and capability in a practical package. From the Taurus sedan to the Territory SUV, these hybrid options – all tested extensively in the Middle East, including summer temperatures above 49 degrees Celsius, to ensure they perform in challenging climates – are designed to help drivers manage fuel costs while still getting the job done.

Ford Taurus Hybrid
The Ford Taurus Hybrid blends comfort with efficiency for drivers who want a sedan that helps stretch every litre. It features a 1.5L I4 engine paired with an electric motor and a 2kWh lithium-ion battery, working with a continuously variable transmission to deliver fuel economy as low as 23.4 km/L.

Inside, the Taurus Hybrid offers a spacious cabin with features like an available 13.2-inch full HD center touchscreen with SYNC® 4A, including wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ support. It’s a practical choice for city commutes and longer drives. Available features include ventilated seats and a dual-panel panoramic sunroof, helping deliver a comfortable drive with less fuel use.

Ford Territory Hybrid
For drivers needing more space and versatility, the Ford Territory Hybrid SUV features a 1.5L hybrid engine, which includes a four-cylinder internal combustion engine working with a direct cooled 1.8kWh traction battery-powered electric motor—presents an option that combines practical design with an efficient powertrain. Delivering a combined peak power output of 180 kW and 230 Nm of torque, channelled through a 2-speed automatic transmission, the system achieves a fuel economy of 23.2 km/L.

The vehicle, too, can select from EV Mode, Parallel Mode, and Series Mode, allowing it to adapt its power delivery depending on the energy requirement for different driving conditions, from all-electric operation for shorter distances to a combination of engine and electric motor power for varied use.

Whether it’s the Taurus sedan’s comfortable ride, the Territory SUV’s adaptable space, Ford’s regional hybrid models addresses a range of driver needs without requiring a compromise on core vehicle attributes, provide vehicles that allow drivers to manage fuel costs while continuing to rely on their vehicles for their intended purposes.
