Over 40,000 drivers take part in inDrive’s financial education program in Morocco

An initiative designed to help drivers better manage their daily income and expenses. For people whose income varies from one day to the next, organizing expenses, setting a monthly budget, and saving money can be real challenges. In the context of flexible work, having simple guidelines to better manage finances therefore becomes especially important. With this in mind, inDrive launched a training program in Morocco dedicated to drivers’ financial education. It offers them accessible advice and concrete tools to better understand their income and adopt practices suited to their daily lives.Since its launch, the initiative has seen strong engagement. More than 40,000 drivers have interacted with the program, while over 20,000 have viewed at least two educational modules and more than 5,000 have completed the entire training.Topics related to budget management, expense tracking, and saving were among those that attracted the most attention, notably thanks to an approach based on real-life situations.Several drivers using the inDrive platform shared their feedback on the training.
Yassine says: “I learned a lot from the advice on organizing my daily budget and on how to balance expenses and income. What I appreciated most was the simplicity of the explanations and the concrete examples, close to our reality as drivers.”The flexible format of the training was also well received, as it allows participants to progress at their own pace and fit the modules into their workday. “The training was practical and easy to follow. I was able to move forward at my own pace, even between trips,” explains Ouyal, a driver using the inDrive platform. The lessons provided have also encouraged some drivers to change their financial habits. Many now say they track their expenses more regularly, save part of their income, and have better control over their financial commitments.Nassim adds: “I started applying budget management principles by making sure my loan installments do not exceed 30% of my net income. I also plan my trips better in order to take advantage of the bonus zones offered by inDrive.”These testimonials illustrate the concrete impact of the training on drivers’ daily lives and the importance of giving them tools adapted to managing variable income.Fatine Bennani Meziane, General Manager of inDrive in Morocco, states: “For many drivers, income can vary from one day to the next. Knowing how to organize expenses, anticipate costs, and set money aside can therefore make a real difference in daily life. With this initiative, our goal is to give them simple and practical tools to better manage their income and make financial decisions with greater clarity.”This training is part of inDrive’s commitment to supporting the driver community in Morocco beyond mobility, by developing initiatives that concretely address their everyday needs.About inDrive
