A New Space Dedicated to Moroccan Elegance and Artisanal Excellence

An iconic figure in Moroccan haute couture, Fadila El Gadi continues the expansion of her Maison with the opening of a new boutique in the heart of Tangier. Conceived as a space for creativity, transmission, and the celebration of Moroccan craftsmanship, the boutique embodies a dialogue between tradition and modernity.

Located at 22 Khalid Ibn El Oualid Street (formerly Velasquez Street), next to Les Insolites Bookstore, the new boutique showcases the designer’s latest collections in a setting that reflects her distinctive artistic identity. Each exceptional creation combines the richness of traditional Moroccan embroidery with refined contemporary silhouettes.

More than simply opening a new boutique, this new location reflects Fadila El Gadi’s commitment to promoting Moroccan creativity on the international stage by establishing a presence in Tangier, a crossroads of cultures connecting the Mediterranean, Europe, and Africa.

For more than twenty years, the designer has played a leading role in showcasing the richness of Morocco’s textile heritage far beyond the Kingdom’s borders. Her collections have been presented in Rome, Naples, Madrid, London, Amsterdam, and Panama, while remaining deeply rooted in the traditional craftsmanship that defines Moroccan haute couture.

This journey is accompanied by a lasting commitment to passing on artisanal knowledge. In 2016, Fadila El Gadi founded the Salé Embroidery School, dedicated to preserving traditional embroidery techniques while providing young Moroccans with professional training in arts and crafts.

With this new address in Tangier, the Maison once again reaffirms its commitment to bringing together heritage, contemporary creativity, and artisanal excellence.

About Fadila El Gadi

Born in the medina of Salé, Fadila El Gadi is today one of the foremost figures in Moroccan haute couture. Inspired from an early age by the artisans’ workshops of her hometown, she made Tarz Rbati, the traditional embroidery of Rabat, the signature of her creative universe, reinterpreting it through elegant contemporary silhouettes.

Her creations have captivated an international clientele and have been showcased in major European cities as well as across Latin America. Recognized for her dedication to preserving traditional craftsmanship, she founded the Salé Embroidery School in 2016 to ensure that this invaluable heritage is passed on to future generations.
