MARRAKECH, 26 March 2025 – Fever, the leading global live entertainment discovery platform, is expanding its iconic Candlelight® concert series to Marrakech, a city celebrated for its blend of tradition and modernity. After captivating audiences in over 150 cities worldwide—including Casablanca, Rabat, and Tangier—Candlelight is now set to bring its unique musical experience to Marrakech, a destination known for its rich cultural heritage and dynamic artistic scene.
Starting from April 25, the renowned Meydene venue—located in the heart of M Avenue, a modern cultural hub—will be transformed into a breathtaking candlelit setting, offering an intimate atmosphere for an unforgettable evening. Candlelight will take place regularly throughout the year and beyond in different venues, evolving with new themes. The first performances will feature tributes to Queen and ABBA, as well as Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Hans Zimmer’s best film scores, blending timeless classical compositions with contemporary hits, performed by talented local musicians.
Candlelight is particularly celebrated for reimagining the traditional concert experience by hosting performances in exceptional and culturally significant venues, beyond traditional theatres and concert halls. With past events staged at landmarks like the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Atomium in Brussels, and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the series now arrives in Marrakech—an artistic and touristic crossroads where history, craftsmanship, and contemporary creativity converge. Meydene, is a dynamic cultural hub dedicated to educational and artistic exchange, highlighting Moroccan culture, art, and lifestyle as well as offering a versatile space for theatrical events and exhibitions. Its commitment to cultural enrichment makes it a perfect fit for the Candlelight mission.

Unlike other Candlelight shows, the concerts at Meydene offer a complete evening experience, ending with an exclusive three-course dining experience at Café Grec. Nestled in the heart of M Avenue, this refined oasis of Greek-inspired cuisine and Mediterranean charm will be bathed in candlelight, accompanied by a musical ambiance to set the tone for the night. This special offering allows guests to savor a meal of modern Greek elegance before the performance, making for a truly immersive and unforgettable cultural outing in one of Marrakech’s most vibrant destinations.
