The General Directorate of Meteorology has released the weather forecast for Saturday, predicting a variety of atmospheric conditions across different regions of Morocco. Low clouds accompanied by fog patches or very light rain are expected to form over the Atlantic plains and the Mediterranean coast.

According to the weather report, thunderous showers are anticipated in the Saïss region, as well as the High and Middle Atlas mountains and their adjacent eastern slopes. Additionally, localized rain droplets and thunderstorms may affect the Rif region and the extreme southern parts of the Saharan provinces.

The Directorate also warns of moderate to relatively strong wind gusts in the Tangier region, the eastern part of the country, the Atlas Mountains, and the Saharan provinces. These winds are likely to cause local dust storms in the affected areas.

Regarding temperature fluctuations, minimum temperatures are expected to range between 07 and 12 degrees Celsius in the Atlas and Rif mountains. Warmer overnight lows between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius are forecast for the Saharan provinces and the interior of the Souss region, while the rest of the Kingdom will see temperatures between 19 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Daytime temperatures are projected to decrease in the eastern region, the eastern Mediterranean coast, and Saïss. Conversely, an upward trend in daytime temperatures is expected across the remaining parts of the country.

Maritime conditions will vary along the Moroccan coastlines. The Mediterranean is expected to be slight to moderate, while the Strait of Gibraltar will remain slight. The Atlantic coast between Casablanca and Boujdour is forecast to be moderate to rough, with the remaining coastal stretches experiencing slight to moderate sea conditions.
