The Moroccan Youth Association of Newspaper Publishers, in partnership with the Amieva Cultural Musical Association, is organizing two art festivals with a Moroccan-Spanish flavor under the name “Fusión Fest” in their first edition on Spanish soil, under the theme: “Building artistic, cultural, and human bridges between Morocco and Spain.” The first festival will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at “la plaza mayor de Santillana del Mar,” in the city of Santillana del Mar, starting at 5:00 PM. The second will take place at “la plaza de la llama Torrelavega,” in the city of Torrelavega, on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the same time.
Both festivals will feature receptions in honor of Moroccan and Spanish attendees, as well as visits to booths showcasing Moroccan and Spanish cultures. There will also be opportunities to explore Moroccan and Spanish cuisine, along with the screening of a video promoting the Kingdom of Morocco and its achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him. Attendees will enjoy a variety of musical performances by Moroccan and Spanish artists.
In addition to speeches by Moroccan and Spanish officials and representatives from both associations, the festivals will pay tribute to prominent Moroccan and Spanish figures who represent a positive image of both countries. Journalists and artists from both Morocco and Spain will also be honored.
These cultural, artistic, and humanitarian festivals aim to strengthen communication and investment in the growing ties between Morocco and Spain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the King of Spain. The events celebrate the rich cultural and artistic traditions of both nations and their shared human heritage. They also seek to create a space where communities from both countries can interact, exchange experiences, and enhance bonds of friendship and cooperation on multiple levels.
Furthermore, these festivals highlight that artistic, cultural, and humanitarian collaboration is key to fostering mutual understanding, addressing common challenges, and promoting shared interests in areas such as security, economy, sustainable development, and human rights.
