DeFacto, the leading fashion brand has partnered with Education for Employment (EFE), an organization working on the professional integration of young people in the Middle East and North Africa, to help address the challenges of youth employment in Morocco through concrete initiatives in training and talent acquisition.
The collaboration plan between DeFacto Morocco and EFE unfolds across several axes, including talent acquisition through hiring for new store openings, training for new employees and section managers, as well as the promotion of diversity and inclusion, particularly for people with reduced mobility and Sub-Saharan communities.
The opening of the new DeFacto Store at the ANFA PLACE mall in Casablanca was the perfect occasion to launch the collaboration. DeFacto Morocco initiated a targeted recruitment process for this opening, following two recruitment days held at EFE’s that resulted in the hiring of 18 candidates. A comprehensive training program was established, based on the specific needs of the new hires.
This partnership is a testament to the commitment of both entities to foster the professional integration of young Moroccans, responding to the specific needs of the job market. It also illustrates the possible synergy between the private sector and non-profit organizations to support Morocco’s socio-economic development.
