As part of this year’s edition, Evgenia Matrosova, Chief Ride-Hailing Officer at inDrive, will represent the company in a panel discussion titled “From Startup to Regional Powerhouse – The Blueprint for Continental Expansion”, scheduled to take place on Stage 10X on Thursday, 9 April, from 13:55 to 14:35. inDrive has grown in less than a decade from a start-up to a global mobility and urban services leader, with over 400mn downloads across the 48+ countries where it operates. inDrive app has been named the second most downloaded mobility app globally for the third consecutive year by Sensor Tower.
The panel will bring together industry experts to discuss what it takes to scale across Africa, with a focus on governance models, regional capital strategies, and the operational frameworks needed to support multi-country growth. During the discussion, Evgenia Matrosova will share inDrive’s perspective on expansion in highly competitive and diverse markets, including how the company approaches localization, operational challenges, and market scalability.
The session will be moderated by Inam Maso, Lead Strategist, International Host and Anchor at The Lioness Africa, Nigeria, and will also feature William Bao Bean, Managing General Partner, Orbit Venture, Saudi Arabia; Naima Driouich, Venture Partner MENA, KEIRETSU Forum, UAE; and Karamokho Badiane, Regional Head of Business Development for Francophone Africa at Wave, Senegal.
