Leading English Proficiency in Morocco: Rabat, El Jadida, and Oujda

In a recent assessment conducted by Education First, a Swiss organization, Morocco’s English proficiency has been identified as inadequate, placing the nation 76th out of the 113 countries evaluated.

The research reveals that the Rabat-Sale-Kenitra region boasts the highest percentage of inhabitants proficient in English, followed closely by the Souss-Massa and Casablanca-Settat regions.

Specifically, Rabat emerges as the front-runner in terms of English proficiency among Moroccan localities, with El Jadida and Oujda securing the second and third positions, respectively.

This study sheds light on the regional variations in English proficiency across Morocco, providing valuable insights into the current state of language skills in different areas of the country.
