At the gracious invitation of the President of the Communication Committee with Professional Judges’ Associations of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Moroccan Association of Judges held a meeting with this honorable committee on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM at the Council’s headquarters. This meeting focused on ways to strengthen the partnership between the Supreme Judicial Council and the professional associations of judges, as well as how to achieve the major strategic goals targeted. Additionally, the discussion included the implementation of several programs the Council is working on, particularly those related to strengthening and moralizing the judicial system and increasing the level of trust in it.
The Moroccan Association of Judges expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Supreme Judicial Council and the President of the Communication Committee for this kind initiative, which reflects the Council’s constant commitment to enhancing communication channels with the professional associations of judges and fostering the principle of effective and constructive dialogue.
The partnership also aims to implement several programs the Council is working on, particularly those concerning the organization of communication between the Council and judges in a manner that ensures speed and transparency. Given that the Supreme Judicial Council is the constitutional institution responsible for managing the professional career paths of judges and overseeing their work, and in line with the Supreme Judicial Council’s 2021-2026 strategic plan, especially “Project 36,” which stipulates the organization of communication with professional judges’ associations, the Council considers these associations as partners in implementing several projects and programs it is working on. This includes defending the independence of the judiciary and strengthening its integrity, as well as increasing the level of trust in it. The Council is committed to enhancing communication channels with the associations and providing them with the necessary information, contributing to the effectiveness of their tasks and aligning them with the Council’s
work.
