inDrive took part in the panel on sustainable mobility at the Auto Expo 2025, which this year was dedicated to hybrid and electric mobility. The discussion, moderated by renowned journalist Ouadih Dada, brought together key industry leaders, including Abdelouahab Ennaciri, President of AIVAM; Said Mouline, Director of the Moroccan Agency for Nuclear and Radiological Safety and Security; Pierre Alexandre Vigil, Secretary General of TotalEnergies EV Charge; and Badr Boukil, Director of Logicat / Evccat.
Representing inDrive in the Maghreb region, Fatine Bennani Meziane emphasized that mobility must remain a social equalizer, giving access to work, education, and opportunities. She highlighted the company’s fair pricing model, where passengers and drivers negotiate trips directly, making rides more affordable and equitable.
Fatine also presented inDrive’s dual approach to sustainability: combining social inclusion with environmental progress. She detailed initiatives to support drivers in transitioning to electric vehicles through incentives such as reduced or zero commission, as already tested in Kazakhstan, and through financial partnerships with banks that allow drivers to use their inDrive income to access EV loans.
Another key message was the need to extend sustainable mobility beyond major cities. Fatine explained how inDrive’s intercity services and upcoming EV projects – including electric motorcycles – aim to reach rural populations. Finally, she called for stronger public–private partnerships where governments provide vision and regulation, while companies like inDrive bring innovation and agility.
“For us, mobility is a social equalizer. It opens access to jobs, education, and opportunities. At inDrive, we believe sustainability must be both social and environmental. That’s why we’re working to make transport more affordable and equitable, while supporting drivers in the transition to electric vehicles.Together with partners, we can make green mobility accessible to everyone in Morocco.” said Fatine Bennani Meziane, inDrive country representative.
By participating in this forum, inDrive reaffirmed its commitment to being part of Morocco’s public dialogue on sustainable transport and to contributing innovative solutions that extend access to green mobility beyond major cities.
