French President Macron Leaves Morocco After State Visit

French President, H.E. Mr. Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by his spouse, Ms. Brigitte Macron, departed from Morocco on Wednesday afternoon, following a State visit to the Kingdom at the invitation of HM King Mohammed VI.

Upon his departure from Rabat-Salé Airport, Macron was seen off by the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch.

After reviewing a Royal Air Force detachment performing the honors, the French President was greeted by the members of the Honorary Committee, which includes the Minister of National Land Use Planning, Urban Development, Housing and Urban Policy, Fatima Ezzahra El Mansouri, and HM the King’s Ambassador to Paris, Samira Sitail.

Macron was also greeted by the Wali of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, Governor of the prefecture of Rabat, Mohamed Yacoubi, President of the Regional Council of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Rachid El Abdi, the Governor of the prefecture of Salé, Omar Touimi, elected representatives, members of the French embassy in Rabat and other civilian and military figures.
