The capital of the Kingdom of Morocco is set to host the 3rd edition of the African Football Agents Conference (AFAC 2025), taking place from April 28 to 30, 2025, at the Four Seasons Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr. Organized by the African Football Agents Association (AFAA) in partnership with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), this landmark event is supported by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
Following editions in Abuja (Nigeria) in 2023 and Nairobi (Kenya) in 2024, this third edition represents a strategic milestone for the football agent profession across the continent. AFAC 2025 will bring together key figures from the global football industry, political leaders, representatives of international sports organizations, and experts in innovation and digital transformation.
High-Level Institutional Presence
The event will be graced by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the FRMF, Mr. Daniel Gonçalves de Freitas, FIFA representative, as well as Moroccan and African government officials, particularly from ministries overseeing sports and digitalization.
Morocco, a Natural Choice for AFAC
With an ambitious strategy focused on modernizing sports infrastructure, talent development, and sports diplomacy, Morocco is positioning itself as a central actor in the advancement of African football. As the host country of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and co-host of the 2030 FIFA World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal, Morocco offers an ideal setting for this pan-African conference.
The event will also feature major global football personalities and will culminate in a significant announcement for the governance of football’s organizational ecosystem.
A Rich and Strategic Program
The three-day conference will feature panels, keynotes, and workshops led by international experts. Key topics will include:
- The role of political leaders in shaping a sustainable football ecosystem
- The rise of FIFA-licensed agents
