Chiils, a 100% Moroccan lifestyle and fashion brand co-founded by Ibtissam Cherradi and Ismaïl Chafachaf, has officially announced its arrival on board aircraft operated by Royal Air Maroc (RAM).
This emblematic partnership highlights Moroccan and African excellence while offering travelers a refined, innovative, and authentically Moroccan in-flight experience.
As part of this collaboration, two Chiils items will be permanently available on board Royal Air Maroc flights. The first is a piece inspired by Africa, featuring the traditional Bogolan fabric—an emblem of African craftsmanship and aesthetic heritage. Through this selection, Royal Air Maroc, often referred to as “the Wings of Africa,” showcases the richness and diversity of the continent’s cultural legacy.
The second item highlights the Khmissa, a powerful symbol of Moroccan culture associated with protection, tradition, and transmission.
A third product, the “Dima Maghrib!” travel pouch, will be available for pre-order on the Royal Air Maroc E-Sky Shop, the airline’s online retail platform. Designed as a travel essential, it is particularly timely ahead of major sporting events starting in December.
All three items are now included in Royal Air Maroc’s on-board and online sales catalog as part of the expansion of its “Treasures of Morocco” collection, allowing passengers to discover and pre-order these signature pieces prior to their journey.
“Today, Royal Air Maroc, as the national airline, is clearly affirming its commitment to promoting Moroccan and African products. For us, this represents a turning point: we are moving from traditional product visibility to a true fashion and lifestyle universe, and Chiils is the first brand to benefit from this platform,” said Ibtissam Cherradi, co-founder of Chiils.
This milestone also carries a deeply personal dimension for Cherradi, the daughter of Driss Cherradi, the first President and CEO of Royal Air Maroc and a key figure in the development of Morocco’s aviation sector. She views this collaboration as a tribute to her father’s vision for Morocco’s global reach and influence.
The Chiils project also owes much to Ismaïl Chafachaf, co-founder and initiator of the brand, widely recognized as a pioneer of direct marketing in Morocco. His strategic vision and expertise helped shape a unique concept blending heritage, design, and modernity, positioning Chiils on an ambitious path within both the Moroccan and international markets.
Through this partnership, Chiils and Royal Air Maroc share a common ambition: to highlight Moroccan and African craftsmanship, celebrate innovation in lifestyle design, and offer travelers a memorable, elegant, and culturally rooted travel experience.
