We are deeply shocked by the reports of the assault that took place on June 29 in Rabat, involving an alleged driver using our platform. We strongly condemn any act of violence, and such behavior is entirely inconsistent with inDrive’s values and safety standards.
As soon as we were made aware of the incident, we immediately blocked the account of the driver in question and launched an internal investigation to fully clarify the circumstances. We are actively seeking to get in touch with the victim to offer our full support, including psychological and financial assistance should she wish to receive it.
Additionally, we are fully prepared to cooperate with the Moroccan authorities and provide any information that may assist their investigation, upon receiving an official request.
We reaffirm our commitment to strengthening safety measures on our platform and working closely with stakeholders in Morocco to support a safer and more regulated mobility framework.
