Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch examined, here Monday, with the representatives of the most representative unions, the measures related to the implementation of the direct social assistance ordered by HM King Mohammed VI.
Thus, Akhannouch held talks with representatives of the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT), the General Union of Moroccan Workers (UGTM) and the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT) on the various measures and procedures that will be adopted to ensure the optimal implementation of the direct social assistance, which will come into force by the end of the year.
The unions’ representatives welcomed the participatory approach based on dialogue, consultation and mutual listening, led by the government for the implementation of this important national project.
The meeting was attended by Interior Minister, Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, and Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and finance, in charge of the Budget, Faouzi Lekjaa.
